UWyo Grazing Permit Renewal Workshop, Wyman WY

This workshop will provide practical guidance for navigating the permit renewal process and understanding how you can be involved in it. Gain the tools to know what to do, and who you can call when you don’t!

Speakers and Topics:
-Dick Loper (Policy Consultant), Understanding the permit renewal process and how to participate
-Producer Perspective, Local producers explain what they have learned about how to get involved
-Glenn Owings (UW Extension), The role of cooperative permittee monitoring in permit renewal
-Karen Budd-Falen (Budd-Falen Law Offices), A legal overview of permit renewal
-Barton Stam, moderator (UW Extension), A multi-agency panel including the WY Department of Agriculture, Uinta County Conservation District, and others
