Will Wolves Learn to Respect Humans?

by

Last week meetings were held throughout Montana at the seven regional Fish, Wildlife and Parks Offices to discuss the 2010 proposed wolf hunting season quotas.  Following up on that meeting, Haylie Shipp spoke with Dwayne Andrews of Miles City FWP to discuss what these wolf hunts could mean for ranchers.

In looking at the 2010 wolf hunting season, the FWP will be taking comments through June 14 on three wolf quotas.  That could all come to a halt if Judge Molloy in Missoula decides to put the species back on the endangered species list.  He is scheduled to hear oral arguments on the case June 15.  For more on how to submit your comments on the proposed wolf hunt, visit the FWP website.
