Anyone who doesn’t think that ranch life was rough and lonely in early days of Montana should look at this photo in winter and feel the isolation of those making a home in eastern Montana. This photo of the Eve Ranch near Marsh-Fallon was taken by Evelyn Cameron in about 1912.
