WUSATA Seminar to Educate Producers on Exporting, Great Falls MT

Great Falls, Mont. – The Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA) and the Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA) will be presenting a WUSATA Informational Seminar in Great Falls from 9 am-12 pm on September 6, 2016. Veteran exporters and new companies alike are encouraged to attend the seminar to learn how exporting can play a part in the growth of their companies. Companies that have a food, beverage or agriculturally-based product that contains at least 50{75e25ebeb47fb4337942be2c10689dca1c292c2a66240b62c5ca4214f5b25ecc} U.S. grown content by weight are eligible for WUSATA’s programs.

 

Visit WUSATA’s website (https://goo.gl/lsjyAz) and follow the instructions to sign up for the event. Users must login to their MyWUSATA account and access the events calendar to sign up for the event. Those without an account can sign up on the website.

 

Additionally, there will be a “Train the Trainer” seminar that starts at 2 pm. These sessions typically last 3-4 hours and will teach people more about WUSATA and what companies can do with WUSATA’s resources.

 

The Western United States Agricultural Trade Association is a non-profit trade association whose members are the 13 western state departments of agriculture. WUSATA receives funding from the USDA’s Market Access Program and has a mission to support and assist members and agribusinesses in these states to develop and enhance international markets for U.S. food and agricultural products.
