The following is a press release from the Wyoming Business Council:
CASPER, Wyo. – The Wyoming Business Council is encouraging those in agribusiness to submit new or updated information for the online version of the Wyoming Farm, Ranch & Agribusiness Directory.
The directory contains the name of each agribusiness, farm or ranch submitted, the contact information, and a brief description of the business, product and/or service provided.
The directory includes the following sections:
• Ag Organizations
• Agribusiness Services/Recreational Ag
• Forage, Crops & Grains
• Livestock & Farm Animals
• Organic & Natural
• Processed Foods and Meat
A letter was sent to businesses currently listed in the directory to obtain updated information. If a business believes itself listed, but did not receive a letter, please contact Terri Barr, senior marketing specialist for the Business Council Agribusiness Division, at terri.barr@wyo.gov or 307.777.2807. Businesses should also contact Barr to receive a registration form or receive a copy of their listing.
Currently, there are no plans to print a hard copy of the directory. However, an online version may be found on the Business Council website at www.wyomingbusiness.org under Agribusiness and Business Assistance, Publications, Ag Directory. A list of businesses by section may also be obtained at any time from Barr.
The mission of the Business Council is to facilitate the economic growth of Wyoming. The Business Council, a state government agency, concentrates its efforts on providing assistance for existing Wyoming companies and start-ups, helping communities meet their development and diversification needs, and recruiting new firms and industries targeted to complement the state’s assets.
