WY Livestock Board Director Resigns

by

On Thursday afternoon, phone lines across the region were turned towards a public meeting of the Wyoming Livestock Board.  The agenda contained one item: the discussion of and possible action in regards to the recently submitted resignation letter from the Board’s Director, Jim Swartz.

During the meeting, Jim read his resignation letter.

*The beeps during Jim’s statement are signals of other callers joining into the conference call.

The group broke apart for an executive session after which the Livestock Board moved to accept the resignation effective June 30th, 2011 in a 5 to 1 vote.
