Wyoming Livestock Board’s Traceability Working Group To Meet

The Wyoming Livestock Board’s Traceability Working Group will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Children’s Theater in the Riverton Public Library at 1330 West Park Ave, Riverton, WY from 11:45 AM to 5 PM.

Topics discussed will include disease traceability capabilities and issues, and livestock identification. The objectives of the meeting are to assess the livestock industry’s interest in establishing a state program, discuss funding options, and to provide recommendations to the Livestock Board and the legislative Joint Agriculture, State and Public Lands, and Water Resources Interim Committee. Livestock producers, veterinarians, and livestock market managers and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
