Wyoming Stock Growers Readdress 2012 Policy

by

This past week, the Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA) held their Winter Roundup at the Parkway Plaza in Casper.  As the mid-year meeting for the organization, members looked again to their policy with the state’s next legislative session just around the corner.

Jim Magagna, Executive Vice President of the WSGA, outlines the eminent domain policy that came up during the convention.

In the federal lands arena, Jim says that they did make an amendment to an existing policy that affects federal land use plans.

With Wyoming Ag in the Classroom celebrating their 25th anniversary and the Wyoming Beef Council celebrating 40 years of success, it was the largest turnout for the Winter Roundup in the last 15 years.  Jackson will be host to the upcoming summer convention.  It will be at the Snow King Resort from May 30 to June 2, 2012.
