Wyoming Stock Growers Seeks Nominees

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –Wyoming Stock Growers Association (WSGA) and Wyoming Department of Agriculture (WDA) are accepting applications for the 2018 Wyoming Stock Growers Environmental Stewardship Tour, which honors Wyoming ranchers who demonstrate outstanding, sustainable management of natural resources.

The annual award, presented as the most prestigious award within the Wyoming Stock Growers Association’s Environmental Stewardship Program, includes a monetary award, an automatic entry into the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s regional and national awards program and stewardship plaque.

“The WSGA Environmental Stewardship Program has recognized the careful management of our natural resources by Wyoming’s ranchers since 1996,” WSGA Executive Vice President Jim Magagna said. “Each year WSGA and our partners look forward to honoring outstanding landowners for the contribution they make to our state’s economy, environment and culture.”

 

The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 6, 2017. All materials must be mailed to: Wyoming Stock Growers Association, P.O. Box 206, Cheyenne, WY 82003.
