Initiative 191 Webinar

Join MSGA, along with the Association of Gallatin Agricultural Irrigators, Montana Farm Bureau Federation, and Montana Grain Growers Association, for a webinar on.  I-191 on May 12 at 6:00 pm.

If approved by voters, Initiative 191 would subject stretches of the Madison and Gallatin Rivers and their tributaries to the same strict regulations currently only found in national parks and wilderness areas. This would shut down many current activities, including diversions for irrigation and stock water. If successful, I-191 would set a precedent that could be used to shut down agricultural activities near other water bodies.
